Urine atony

Urine atony is a dysfunction of the bladder, which no longer is able to store urine, accompanied by involuntary urinating. Urine atony, although not dangerous, can be very awkward for the one concerned. In many cases the reason for it is a loss of tone of the muscles of the pelvis floor, pregnancy and birth, overweight or menopause. Further reasons can be an inflammation of the urinary system, the bladder, the kidneys, a neuronal damage or an anomaly of the urine passage, damage or illness of the brain or the spinal cord.
