Hemorrhoids are blood-vessels, lining the inside of the anal canal and fine-tuning the closure of the anus in a way, that even in case of diarrhea or flatulence nothing passes it involuntarily. If hemorrhoids are constantly injured by hard stools, or in case of a weakness of the connective tissue, they become enlarged and are being pressed out of the anus more and more. This goes along with rectal bleedings, a further prolaps, moistening, itching and burning pain as well as uncomfortable pressing pain and persistent rectal tenemus.
